The Fortnite team has posted a list of things coming to the Battle Royale Mode in the next four to six weeks. Players can look forward to the inclusion of voice chat, squads/duos polish, loot density improvements, inventory & spectating improvements as well as changes to controller support and the UI. Epic has plans to add more data centers to improve ping time and to add a PTR.

It's stupid how bad it's the reticle on white/green guns.
The game is free, servers aren't, who will pay for them? if you enjoy the game support the devs, simple
Remenber, game is free
Who uses white or green weapons though? If you are using those you are screwing yourself in more ways than not being able to aim well. Those schematics and weps are meant to be collected, recycled, dropped.
Not everyone has good RNG luck. I have to agree with DMKano. Sure the optimization is better in FORTNITE. But it lacks the weapon customization and gunplay of PUBG. Fortnite will always be the poor man's PUBG.
In Battle Royale aka kamikazee mode they are possibly meant to give you a feeling of happiness or dread depending on what you found?
Weapon damage, reload speed, etc "sure", but not accuracy. The average rarity you will find is blue, maybe 1 purple if lucky. Blue ranked guns aren't even that better in accuracy, but certainly not as bad as white/green rarity guns. Why should the game be decided by who was the most lucky person? Shouldn't it be on skill?
Aiming at someone, and seeing your bullets miss due to having a white/green gun is so frustrating, that I haven't tried the game mode again.
In PVE as you move up in weapon grades the improvements as you progress are significant and designed well in the sense that you can feel yourself get stronger when you upgrade. Fortnite pvp is 100% free entertainment so maybe they figured it isn't worth it to spend any money on adjusting the weapons from PVE for PVP since the PVE part is where people actually spend money.
Who knows why it is the way it is for the battle royale mode only epic knows but my guess is that pvp was an afterthought that is now there as a demo to allow people to try out the game and they won't invest too many resources into it cause there is really nothing in that mode that generates any income.
You didn't run into anyone the whole game, while picking up awesome weapons and tools, then ran into the other 2 remaining players battling it out and killed the victory with one shot? Loto Winner!
I'm talking about aiming at someone who didn't see you, miss half the shots due to having a terrible accuracy system in place, and dying to said person because his shots hit while yours didn't.
