Foxhole - Anyone played lately?

Hey guys, I'm still in the mood for a good, multiplayer wargame.  I tried a couple of the vehicle combat games, and just couldn't get into it.  I'm looking for something where you can play infantry, as well.  Anyway, has anyone played Foxhole lately?  Is it worth buying into in its early access (OMG why am I even considering this) state?  Do enough people play to make things interesting?  Thanks!

lots playing... good game ..   Yes very much worth its price in its current state .. Devs are extremely active and provide rapid fixes and updates coming at a nice pace
