Happening with my G600. This solves it just not for long.
lol "It's dead Jim" It's ok to throw it away now as it will never work the same once that issue starts. I had the same problem with mine, had to buy a new mouse. FYI stay away from Logitech. They haven't made a good mouse since the very first G-series mouse and they won't warranty it. They figure If it lasted more than two years, you would never come back to buy a new one from them. again, avoid Logitech.
I have been using Logitech for years and years this is the first time this happened to a mouse I own from them. So for now they are still the best as far as I know.

c'mon, you even posted in my thread, you should not have forgotten by now lol
I posted in your thread ? I was talking about the fix not lasting and for your information this mouse is over three years old so it has more than lasted . I have been satisfied with this mouse since I use the brand a lot and so does my family. I think expecting something to last for longer than that especially since I use it for hours and hours a day is quite difficult to live up to. I play for 12-15 hours sometimes .
Very forgetful too sorry I am old
The price has doubled too when I went to buy one I bought it for about 40 Euros a few years back and I bought two of them now it is 99 Euros each. Good god !
Everyone else in my family uses the G500 since they don't like the 12 side button thing ,I am the only one with a G600. I also have the trackball mouse that someone on this forum recommended but I am having some problems with the USB connections in the front of the computer . The ones behind touch wood are okay but the ones in front cause the computer not to start if anything is connected to them so that mouse is languishing now.

The mouse was 3 years old, I didn't use it much for 2 years of that time because I mostly gamed on my laptop and used a different mouse, so I did not feel like I got my money out of it at all, and Logitech support is meh. After reading many reviews and forums I learned that this was a known issue for that version of the mouse as well as a few others from around that time. Add that to the another issue with Logitech in that I had used a G15 keyboard that had issues with the paint on the keys wearing off within the first 6 months and how they refused to remedy it, later to find they did for some customers about a year later, by then I was past my original warranty and they wouldn't talk to me about it. Even offered to pay money for new keys....nope.
That's why I just decided to go with a different brand and avoid Logitech from this point on. I gave them a few chances, so they lost a customer. I will say that my G710+ is still going strong, but I'm hearing stories now that even their latest mechanical keyboards are having issues. I assume they build failure into their products.
