A pretty decent free MMO

"Kalonline".

I've played most of them, just for fun/boredom.

 

It looks really nice considering its Korean. It has a decent class system that features a supprising degree of flexibility considering the former and its..well..just kind of fun ;).

 

It supports itself through an online "store" feature..but no worries casualites. they only sell items such as "Exp stone: Grweaty increase xp made you an hour", and other crap. Nothing that affects PvP, which as an aside is sort of a unique system also, or directly pays you in-game money (ala IGE, ect).

Of course nothing is perfect :) Theres about 100,000 german chat-spamers (like in most free games it seems) going "Ich auf wiedersehen sehr jawol Nien lololololz lololz roofle LAWL ja" OVER and OVER again..i think Germany must be the only country that dosent teach english..but to get back on topic..

You have you scammers also..so you pretty much have to keep an eye out for them (and laugh at them as they run theyre speachs)

and KS'ing is very common in these games. However, no class is screwed there. An archer can KS from a Mage can KS from a Knight can KS from an Archer, ect.  Starting at a low level knights get a taunt, which when used while running up to the mob acts as a massive damage attack..but of course its just a taunt. but it counts towards your xp/looting. so its quite nice.

Anyways. In case someone like me is reading the forums..Kalonline might a little fun for awhile if your bored.

    It's not the Koreans that are to blame, it's the dumb Korean devs who make these crappy games.

    Well it's not like ALL Korean games are bad...infact Koreans make some of the best games out there, the thing is that only the cookiecutter Korean mmos make it to North America.
