Whats the best PvP game ????

DatcydeDatcyde Member UncommonPosts: 573

Seriously to me any mmo that has no PvP is lame i dont care how fun monster killing and

the world is. I quit LinII which had the most fun PvP ive ever played and then i tried Eq2 in hopes of

the pvp expansion but this guy online lied to me thinking it was going to be a open pvp zone not like

some sort of an arena thing forget that. I know SuN will have open consensual PvP, guild wars, and

seige wars. Im tempted to try DnL but i dont like how the armor looks at all and the weapons why cant

things look like lin2 graphics!!! Im probably going to try WoW on the new pvp server later on in august.

In my opinion, I find EVE to be a very nice PvP mmorpg.

People who have to create conspiracy and hate threads to further a cause lacks in intellectual comprehension of diversity.

Erm eve is the most open and most unforgiving non carebear game out there!

Its all the game is about like, the freedom of the game makes the PVP soo much better than anyother game

    World War II Online

100% PvP. Everything is player controlled, no bots, no autogenerated (scripted) missions from the gameserver. Only player made missions.

Visual limits is some 100 players, all (thousands) players on the same server.

A persistant and continouos world of epic size. No levels, no zones. WWII Online has the biggest persistant world I know of. The whole map is 1200x1200 kilometers (most of North and Western Europe), but only a "small" part of this gigantic map is modelled with a continuing terrain, with a greate varitation of vegetation and almost 500 villages, towns and major cities. The actual fighting ground constitute "only" some 30.000 square kilometers.

Vehicles and planes has historical accurate damage models. No hitpoints.

Been playing since August 2002, and still loves it.::::08::

If you want a Unique pvp game out there ive never to this day seen a pvp system come close to the one in asherons call(1), its the most diverse and gives you the most freedom in a pvp game. most games are generic and are timed

I was really suprised no one mentioned Dark Age of Camelot. It is one of the best and biggest PvP(RvR) ever. If you haven`t tryed it out yet I suggest doing so.

gonna have to give it to Guild Wars. It's times like these that I wish Eve would run on my computer so that I could try it out.

Best pvp game is of course Toontown Online, there is no competition.

Um, DnL is still in very closed beta (people trying to get in for 3 years with the best computers still haven't gotten in). Also, you should check the dates of the screenshots you see before judging a game in closed beta... Most screens out there are from 2002. Currently, the character models are looking a LOT better, and NPCube even said they're going to work on them more still.

    Eve Online.

You're free to attack anyone anywhere, although it would be a silly crime to commit when you're in a solar system crammed with police force. Ofcourse you're generally safe when you stick to high security systems, but there's always that risk involved, which adds alot of edge to Eve, and it's open ended PVP. It can be a cruel world at times :P

Eve Online is a really good game IMO.  You *really* have to do your research to make sure you don't waste time on your skill paths, but the pvp is pretty decent.  A good computer + eve online + the skill training programs = good fun with little waste of time.

That said, DAOC has the coolest PvP IMO.  Yes there are problems with balance, buffbots, ToA grind, etc.  But if you want some fun group based pvp it is in DAOC.

Bounty Hunting Jedi in SWG is also a great challenge and a lot of fun.  But SWG PvP is borked other than that, and some can argue even BH vs Jedi is borked.
