One interesting thing that should be pointed out. Those that complain about the game being boring; I get the feeling that these folks don't connect well with other players. One of the keys to the fun of MMO's is playing with other people. I hope you can find some good players to join in the superhero fun!

Well im going to play on the european servers=) So i think i will find some friends^^
I'd go with COH between those two choices. I may try MxO but only because SOE is adding it to the Access Pass, which I already have. I'd never actually pay a fee to try the game. Not because I've heard bad things about it but because I'm not a huge fan of the Matrix movies to begin with (Actually I hated all but the 1st one).
Personally I didn't like COH not because it had any real flaws but because I found it boring.

Sort of true, but not in the way you think. I'm a very social person, I've done online gaming since the day of MUDs, in which there is nothing -but- being social, it's all text.
However, I enjoy playing a character how I like, based on my interests. I played CoH as a defender for a while... but because I wasn't a RADIATION Defender, no one wanted me in their group. So, it's not that I don't like people, or that they don't like me, I just didn't fit the template for the 'fastest, most efficient way' through their next mission goal.
And you know, it's like that in every MMO, not just CoH. Only in CoH it's easier to see the impact.
So, yes, every MMO is a little bit boring when it comes down to whether you give up your enjoyable character to play one built to be desireable, or you just play alone. In CoH, if you end up playing your fun character alone, you'll be bored. And if you create one of the desireable character types, you're no longer unique (which to me is also boring).
Both ways, I end up bored. And not for lack of being social.
