DAoC vs. Lineage II (and a list of classic servers for online RPGs)

In another thread I made this list of online RPGs from 2004 and earlier that today have classic servers. I will again post it.
Ultima Online (1997)
Everquest (1999)
Dark Age of Camelot (2001)
Final Fantasy XI (2002)
Lineage II (2003)
Shadowbane (2003)
Star Wars Galaxies (2003)
World of Warcraft (2004)
Turns out it is useful. I wish to play one, and will choose one of the two listed. Now the question. I seek an MMORPG where I will generally play alone. Which of the two listed, DAoC or Lineage II, is better for this? And what are the strengths of each? Any other comments on these? If you have only played one, that is fine. I will understand comparisons to all the above [I have played them], save three: UO, DAoC, and SWG.
