planeshift WTF

So I was trolling a popular torrent site this morning looking for something to download, I saw a torrent called planeshift that had like 11000 leechers, way more then the closest torrent.  I was intrigued and downloaded it.  I found out it was the MMORGP and a free one at that.  So now I am thinking way cool.

I start making my first character and find that most of the races don't work, not a big deal since I am fond of humans anyway.  I then go through a detailed process of selecting a birthdate, naming parents, and siblings, selecting hobbies and lifechanging events, reading each option carefully.  Ten minutes later I log into the game and the first message I see.

ALL CHARACTERS WILL BE WIPED SHORTLY BECAUSE OF EXPLOITS

I spend about five minutes trying to figure out how to control the camera and make my character run, then I just loose interest completely. 

I guess when the pricetag says free you shouldn't expect to get much.

No, free doesn't mean that much seeing as I am reasonably sure PlaneShift is a Technical Demo.

I could be wrong, however.

EDIT: Nope, their current release "Crystal Blue" is their third technical demo.
However, as it doesn't exactly make it clear on the site, you are forgiven for thinking it was a proper MMO.
