I would love to play this again but the combat oh the combat. I simply love the art style and humour and the housing ,everything except the combat. Change that and I will come back gladly.

Everytime I hear a company say they will continue to support a game I forsee the imminent shutdown happening.

Don't know why NCSoft does not give City of Heros a revamp. They still own it. UPDATE IT with unreal engine 4, keeping the core gameplay, hero creation mechanics, the OLD player base would flock too it. With the current Superhero craze I think it would explode the player base in general. BUT since it wasn't popular in Korea , not going to happen.

I read two one word that turns me off of any game.

END game,Hardcore end game stuff ,lol, what about THE GAME?

I was turned off by the console looking design the first day i logged in.The graphics also gave me a headache,i think it is the lighting they use and wasn't surprised to see another person mention it a day after i tried the game.
IMO the ONLY reason Wildstar got any notoriety at all was it's marketing videos, otherwise i don't think it would have made it past the first month.

Never forget 3 mile Island and never trust a government official or company spokesman.

The 'bottomline' is this: if this game truly had a future then more would've been done, not saying "hey, we're not gonna make raids anymore" like 2-3 years ago? Along with not really even adding a new class to the game since its been out, only making it so that other races can use other classes. I bet there was a statement just like this before NCSoft shut down CoH.

Also, if this game had a future, they would not have to tell people it has a future.

Also, if this game had a future, they would not have to tell people it has a future.

They "have to" say that (again and again) because people always say "Oh, it's dead." For years.

But hey, they do that in every MMO. As long as it makes profit, they keep it running. Wildstar gets continously new players that sign-up, too bad it can't make 'em stick to it. Main reason for that is the stable but old (meaning: longtime, progressed players) playerbase that makes it even harder, despite the hardcore content, to get in/fetch up.

Yeah the producers letter for the year was just sad, basically said at the beginning of the year that nothing new was coming.

Shame too, because it's a great game that just never recovered from its launch issues.  I believe if they had simply eased up on the raiding requirements it would have done much better but having to do gold runs on everything was a bit much even for a hardcore group of players.
