Playing the Mod

Recently I was very excited to go back to WoW and even joined a guild on a server full of players who were interested in the new levelling experience. Unfortunately after two weeks the guild was deserted. Everyone either went to more active guilds or back to their old servers. That was the end of that. The dungeon experience never improved and I unsubbed a few days ago.
At a loose end I decided to do something I have been meaning to for a long time. Play Hellgate London again. So I went to this fan run incredible site that has modded up this game to fantastic heights even introducing whole new areas like the Lost London mod. I took the very basic mod and since I have the old game. I had even pre ordered this game initially (got the wasp dye even) and my old key, I was able to install and I am now playing it. The classes are fun and I am playing a few and I think my husband is interested too and asking to play it on my computer and I reluctantly let him and lost my computer to him for 2 hours yesterday while he played a marksman.
The are currently testing a multiplayer version called London 2038.

Sad how this game died. I swear it is a crime really how this game simply lasted 2 years and please don't even talk about the Global release later on that reduced the graphics so it could run on toasters and introduced all sort of micro transactions.
So if any one of you enjoyed this game and would like to play it again go check this site out.
