I've realized this about myself. I can really only play 1 game at a time. I think the reason is, since I have a super addictive personality, once I get into a game, I'm automatically addicted. Once i'm addicted to it, I don't want to play any other game. I am not sure I can play a game without being clinically addicted to it or else I'll get bored.
I'm not sure how other people keep bouncing from game to game, I guess they aren't addicted or have massive amounts of time.
For example. I was playing Conan Exiles, then when I got a bit bored or wanted to take a break, I went back to my "old faithful" game which is Path of Exile and a new season had just come out. So I played that for about 1-2 weeks until my character died. (I play HC only). Then I got pissed and was like screw that. I decided to give Witcher 3 a try for the story but never got addicted to the game somehow. Then I started talking about P2W on the forums and decided to fire up good old project entropia and then got hooked back into that.
I can't really bounce between Path of Exile and Project Entropia. I just cannot play more than one game at a time. I could do a huge crafting run in Entropia and then play another game while I craft, but it's preferable to set up my crafting runs when I go to sleep.
How about yourselves?

P.S. Civ 5 is what I call a filler game, when I'm in between games (addictions) and I haven't gone back to PoE, I'll probably fire up a few games of Civ 5.

Not many games get my 100% attention at any time. Notice the pattern above, they are all single player with a good story.
I can play an online game for a very long time but never by itself because they get too repetitive and make me lose interest when there is lack of new content. So i always keep several online games installed to hop around based on my interest and mood and if my friends are playing.

I can play only one game, and never bounce between games.
Normally I play only one game, and I stay with it obsessively until I'm "finished" with it, rarely to return.
There's a few games I've gone back to or replayed over the years, EVE, WOW and DAOC in the MMORPG space, Fallout Tactics, Fallout 4, Half Life 1, and Ultima Underground come to mind in single player games.
As the Highlander would say..."there can be only one."
Right now that one continues to be Fallout 4. Currently playing through the Far Harbor DLC, terrific expansion and glad I waited to do it on my 2nd character rather than my level 70 1st one.

For MMOs we had the word "locust" for those who devour a games content get to top level or near it and then move on to the next MMO. "Butterfly" was for those players more like you mention who flit from one game to another.
So our argument about P2W helped you decide to go back to Entropia, next time I will ask any poster I am in a discussion with about P2W "This is not fuelling your addiction for P2W is it?"
Incidentally this is not fuelling anyone's addiction to be a locust or a butterfly is it?
Do not play any arpg's anymore or moba's all trash games that do nothing for me.FPS's i stick to the best Quake and Unreal as these new wave attempts are more flash than good designs.IMO fps's belong in arena settings not running around trees and rocks and forced gas.
Never forget 3 mile Island and never trust a government official or company spokesman.
And people on here call ME a gaming purist.
Even now my Steam library has several non RPGs in it, including 7 Days to Die, Hearts of Iron 4, Dead Maze, couple of XCom titles, Prison Architect, Endless Sky and I can't bring myself to even try the APRGs in the collection, Torchlight 2 and Grim Dawn.
With RPGs like Witcher 1, 2, & 3, Elite Dangerous, Legend of Grimrock 2, and Massive Chalice still in the queue it might be awhile.
Assuming they never release Fallout 5 or worse Fallout Online of course. I would probably just have my consciousness transferred into one of them.

If there is a game I really like and which takes a lot of time I exclusively play that game. This might take several weeks for some single player games. Regarding mmorpgs in the past I skipped several years of single player games just because I was exclusively playing one mmorpg. But those times are long gone. New mmorpgs don't keep me interested for very long anymore.
Nowadays it's more like some major sp games and in between I play little filler games which can be played for an evening.
