Theres tons of idle browser games that can be played at work....way too many to list.....The most common are the PBBGs (persistant based browser games) but there are many others also.

With Eve, you have to be careful where you do AFK mining as there are suicide bombers squads that run around just looking for miners and you also have miner bumpers who will move your ship away from the roids you are mining wasting your afk time.
BDO is a good one. I afk horse train almost every day while I am at work. You can also afk large patches of cooking and alchemy or fish or process afk.

I agree. I like to write but sometimes have a game going just to take small breaks.
Also, one doesn't have to be self-employed to play video games. I have a friend who owns a company who lets his employees play games provided they are responsible for all of their work.

Riders of Icarus is meant to be left running on your computer because you train your mounts by just sitting on them or just by having your pets out. They can never train higher then the level of your character so you're have to play through the levels first but additional pets and mounts are leveled just by having them out.

Summoners War, except instead of screen, it's a phone/tablet. It's the most complicated phone game I've ever played in a good way. I have almost beat all the PvE content in the game, and I've played a year and a half..
