The game is essentially a carbon copy of Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes, but it’s much more of a looker. I’ve been pining for another turn-based Marvel title, so despite my reservations about Galaxy of Heroes, I’ve just decided beggars can’t be choosers and I’ve been playing MSF here and there over the past few weeks. I still have most of the same issues, but it’s not too bad.

Yes I've played the last week or two now as well. My guild just started raids (a bit confusing) but the whole energy gate thing is tiresome. The "auto win" button on 3 star victory won battles is nice especially since those count for daily achievements... 2 more days and I unlock Wolverine I guess.

Foxnext says 60 playable characters but I'm thinking that includes ho-hum ones like "Hand Archer", "Hand Sorceress", "S.H.I.E.L.D. Medic", etc. which is a bit boring.

Not a big fan of strike force. While there is some strategy to it, it's just not exceptionally fun. I seriously feel like I have more strategy in Marvel Puzzle Quest than I do in this.

I'll unlock him today. You can keep doing the dailies every day to get more shards for him too from what I hear.

I am getting Wolverine today, and also started doing guild raids, sadly it seems like all the hero's and villains I am adding are real no names, it seems like the real popular heroes will either be a pay option or a real lucky random.. Seems like all the daily boxes now just give me leveling stuff and not hero shards.. Not sure how long I will stay interested as Im already in the 4th story line using the same heroes..

Game is total sh*t. Everything that's wrong with mobile turn-based P2W games is here in spades. Avoid at all costs.

There are worse games out there, but yeah, it's very much so geared towards mobile.  I would say.. don't necessarily "avoid" it, but just play it casually if it interests you. Some of these mobile games and their monetization, you could lose a house or two on them and still not get everything you want.

I think its still worth a little play time though. Casually.

"Like most of these mobile games, it’s going to be a matter of how much you can deal with the way it gates you and tries to get you to monetize."

    Says it all really.

Not a bad little game, especially if you're a Marvel fan. It's great for wasting time while doing your bathroom business

Vast majority of everything you can farm.  It takes time, but you can be competitive.  Star Wars:Galaxy of Heroes is the same game and I've been playing it for almost 2 years.  You just have to be patient, or pay.
