MMORPG? FFXI, FFXIV, Blade and Soul, Necromancer in GW2, Sorcerer class in ESO has a couple of pets, Necromancer/Elementalist/Ranger souls in Rift for the mage and rogue class respectively, Warlock and Hunter in WoW, Mystic in Tera has a few pets but its more of a healer class, Skyforge necromancer as well I think, Archeage/Bless/Riders of icarus let you have pets regardless of your class.

Dofus has a Summoner Class called Osamodas, and a similar class which has a voodoo doll/plant theme instead of pet monsters; this class is called Sadida.

Perfect World has two Pet-user classes.  The pet monster class is a gender-locked female class called Venomancer.  The Mystic class is not gender locked, and summons various things but mostly not monsters.

Black Desert has a tamer which looks really cool.

Guild Wars one has Necro and Ritualist classes, both of which have summons.  The necro raises corpses. The Rit summons spirits.  Hmm, actually the Ranger class has some spirit summon skills as well.
