Funcom has released a brand new trailer to prime the excitement for the May 8th release of Conan Exiles. The video provides and overview of "the journey players will take as they strive to survive Funcom's open world survival game when it launches".

    I like some of the changes though I don't like how they "upped" the color. I also love the climbing. Was able to get away from an alligator last night by just climbing and hoping I had enough stamina.

    Well, it depends on what you mean by stories/quests.

    This isn't an rpg maker so you can't script/write quests.

    It is an open world and a survival game. You could feasibly turn pvp off if you run your own server or rent a server and play it multiplayer that way.

    You can also play it "solo" (just hit play) and build to your heart's content. they have supposedly added pve mobs that will attack your settlement.

    You can go out, explore, hunt, discover things and build.


    If you run your own server (or play solo) you can change certain parameters such as dropping items on death, how quickly food spoils, how fast you level, etc.

    Is the game substantially better now. It wasn't bad when i played but i did get bored quite fast. I'll have to check out the official launch

    I'm excited for the launch. Starting fresh will be nice.
    I am looking for others interested in starting a Clan on an Official PvP Server.
