We are a bunch of grown men who play video games and chat on a forum about playing them, Your expectations are too high
Classy is a word seldom seen or heard on the internet, things are pretty "tame" around these parts.
There is no Classy without ass.
This also reminds me of a guild I once ran into called "UR Moms my Mount," which is still classier then another guild I came across several times called "Suck my PVPness." Man children are still everywhere.

'This does not apply just to ED but SC or any other game. What they will get is Rebirth/X4, likely prettier but equally underwhelming and pointless.
It is incredibly difficult to design some meaningfull leg content that would fit a space ship game - simply because it is not a leg game.
It is just huge resource waste....'

My First character in LOTRO was a hobbit thief named Dildo Baggins, I was shocked the filter or lack of allowed it.

What intrigues me here is that with so many mounts, does this not imbalance the worlds fauna? In other words are there not a lot more mount sized animals kicking around than you would normally see?
I really like the idea, but then I have always had a penchant for animal training classes, I presume this is something every player can do though?
In the JP version, it's for everyone, kind of one of the game's USPs *Unique Selling Points* though Icarus has this too. What I'm curious about is how many of them can be used in combat.
None are combat pets - I have zero idea how you don't know that.
Pets give various buffs/benefits only. Some can be ridden, some are only companions.
The flying mounts will be completely out of reach of an average player - only the commander who wins the capital siege is eligible for a flying mount - aka guild leader of large PvP guilds.
That begs the question though, since flying mounts 'skins' will inevitably be in the cash shop, can one simply buy the 'skin' and use it to gain flight? I think you said you played the JP client? Did they have flying mounts in the cs there?

They actually said that flying mounts will have to much of advantage, and because of this they will not put it on the cash shop, they will have to be earn through achievements.
If at first you dont succeed, call it version 1.0

Pretty sure that's what he meant, companions are usable in combat in terms of buffs. Not sure what amount will be mounts/companions.
