What is going on with MxO? It looked so promising before it came out but now look at people's opinions of it. I didn't know whether I should try it or not, but after seeing this, I reckon I can splash out the cash.

I am playing it here and there. I don't see alot of people in it but I manage pretty well on my own. Floundering abit with learning everything about it, however it not a bad learning curve. Try it, for that price and the free month how can you go wrong?

Noticed this earlier this week while pre-ordering Worms 4.  Also noticed the two latest AO expansions (containing the original+notum wars as well) for £3 each as well.. so I picked all three.  AO I was already considering starting again since I quit before any of the expansions were released, and TMO I figure I'll try once I can cancel without having to call up anyone.. or if it gets added to the all access pass thingy Sony has.

2.99 Euros would be around 3.60 dollars

2.99 pounds (which is how what the original poster said) is about 5.30 dollars.

ordered my copy today its a bargain and since the recent update where they have merged the realms then people are saying it is alot more poulated  so ill see u guys in game.

I am kind of holding off loading my copy till its an all access.

Granted i could get my free month and then cancel and wait but i hear it involves phoning to do it and not keen on this.

On the other hand i will lose the free month if i add it to all access .

Phoning to cancel your subscription is not a problem. I subscribed to the game for two months and managed to get to the heady heights of level 6!

I just couldn't get on with the 3rd person camera view or the 'hit and miss' fighting. I rang up the number to cancel. This guy asked me why I ws cancelling. I claimed that I didn't have the time to play and told them to check my logged playing hours. The guy was quick to say 'No problem' - I think he was worried that I might start ranting about the game  - and told me my subscription would end mid-June. Painless but shame about the game.

I'd say go for the month now. It theoretically should be fully in SOE's hands (and hopefully therefore added to the Satation Access Pass) around the 17th -- 60 days from the buyout announcement [the fired employees were given 60 day notices on or about June 17th].

If it isn't added by then, canceling is typically a 5 min call at most (or 24hrs for a petition to file if the phone method completely fails). Just remember to phone in about a week ahead to avoid paying for the second month.

In 12 hrs a week for a month, you'll probably get a feel for the combat, controls, community and be able to judge how much you want to pay for the game. That way even if it hasn't been added to the Pass by then end of your free month, you'll know if it's worth the $15 for the second month till it is added.

I don't think the billing support people are really worried what your reason is, they just need to log an answer, should you choose to give one, for player retention stats/plans/changes.

After all, if you wait till it hits the Access Pass to start playing, you'll also be waiting till the unwashed hordes of SOE players who are only playing because it's now free to them are in-game. This way you can get to know the people who are playing MxO because it's MxO, not just because it's free

Yeah had rumours that it be added to all access last week which did not happen so will load it up when i return from work today.Hopefully it be added in next month and i will just transfer it to the SoE account.
