EVERY last item/ship in the cash shop SHOULD have been ONLY in the game world,designed/developed/earned by gamer's inside the game world and via the economy, they do NOT ever belong in a for sale shop that is not even in the game world.
So to me,they can do whatever they want, add this ,create a new stretch goal to delay game even more, promises of grandeur, all it is to me is a cash shop in space.
Never forget 3 mile Island and never trust a government official or company spokesman.
That list is the PU ships, so it doesn't include SQ42 ones, like especially the Vanduul capitals.
It's not really much of a thing because as SQ42 is an SP campaign you surely will fly several ships but wouldn't be free-roam where you fly anything you want, instead more like ships appearing as part of scenes, fights and such.
So, is Ashes of Creation, Duel Universe, Crowfall, Camelot Unchained, Chronicles of Elyria, and EVERY other crowdfunded game listed now or that will be listed in the future just as culpable or is it solely reserved for CIG and Star Citizen. How about the games that came before these.
How I wish peoples drivers licenses where required to be visible under peoples avatars at all times.
The amount of snark and arrogance would drop 1000 fold.
Actually I think I should clarify my question: I was trying to ask why is @Octagon7711 looking forward to playing SQ42 based on a picture of ships that won't be in the game.
How to sat that... Frotnite made 300M$ in one single month salleing skins. Which is an average of 100$ per conccurent players... one month.
SQ42 and SC got 187M$ in 6 years to create something never done by anyone. It is coming, 3.1.4 right in PU. New major in 30 days. By the way There are no new strech goal for 3 years and half. Finance model of SC is from start Kickstarter model, hence selling things that are not availlable by definition. When released, pledges ships will disapear and will be replaced by micro-transactions and they will make even more cash
Clearly Crowdfunding model is not for you. Do not worry, +700.000 Backers and growing every day ensure the project come to fruition as expected.
Wa min God! Se æx on min heafod is!

so 100$ / 744 hours got it.
Now pick those 270$ per members of a SC Org, this is not for a month but for a life project. They don't pay 270$ per month. So the 270$ could be divided by 744 hours x (insert any value) years. That would give 0.03 cts per hour for a year.
We can play with number to show what we want to show at the end of the day, except for few whales, backers are going to enjoy a unique game with a pledge amount between 45 to 100$ per head. While a WOW player do spend +200$ per year.
CIG is not the evil some love to depict...
And the person that spends $27,000 just on themself? Or the person that spends $15,000? or the person that spends $5000? How many hours will they need to play?
The comparisons with Fortnite or World of Warcraft strikes me as mental gymnastics to legitimize something that has no comparison at all. Are there any organisations in Star Citizen that have confirmed they are pooling their money on a $27,000 pixel pack or is it just some non-existent outlier being used to make it sound like an acceptable, legitimate purchase?
Remember they cannot sell ships after release, as that is the one thing they HAVE promised not to do.
There will be a price to play on the "mmo" servers. Trust me on this one. Either a sub or something similar. No way they can keep this running as B2P.
One thing for sure, new players will need to buy at least ship starter packages. So those will be for sale.
