Until now I've only played BnS, ELOA, ASTA, ToS, Aion and a vampire game for a bit. Among all these I liked the gameplay style of BnS and ELOA. But now can't play ELOA. As for BnS I got bored because it doesn't have much customization opportunity (Customization as in States and build customization), most dungeons are like the stuffs I need to play this one are found in this one, so, completely undergeared, and mostly I like to play PVE alone but it's too much party oriented. I liked ToS and ASTA's character building features although not very effective but their gameplay is bad.

So, here's what I would like- A game with good character building and state customizing opportunity, good gameplay (either like BnS or ELOA) and where I can play solo. It would be good if it's a new game so that I don't fall too far behind but old games are also welcomed.

Please give me some suggestion.

Bless online. Came out like 2 days ago. I haven't played the game but there are a million posts about it.

You could also try real life too. Has unlimited character customization and you can play solo but you can be forced to be grouped at times. It's completely Pay-2-win though.

I'm all in on 5 and 9.  Also Cleopatra (1963).  It doesn't get enough representation these days.  And Conan the Barbarian (1982, the best year of F&SF movies).

Now, as for MMORPGs,  Rift is okay, pretty well balanced between solo and party.  EQ1 is still around and good for a few weeks.  It's mostly a solo affair through 80th, and there's still a relatively active grouping game at the 100+ range.  ESO works well, also.

Logic, my dear, merely enables one to be wrong with great authority.

Don't worry, someone will be along in a moment to tell us how movies actually are MMOs.

If you don't mind a sub game. FFXIV is one of the best. A lot of content, good PVE and questing, excellent crafting and gathering, fun dungeons and trials and plenty of end game content. It is also well polished and can be played with a controller or mouse and keyboard. If you are looking for something free,I would say Guild Wars 2 or Black Desert Online for $10

    World of Warcraft.
I second this, especially with BFA coming in 2 months.

Also if you're intending to play solo, why not just play an ARPG? If you love character customization go with Path of Exile, they literally just got a massive patch and new league started today. You can even play with others should you choose too as well.

I don't really get the mindset of playing an mmorpg with the intention of playing solo. There's so many far better and fleshed out single player RPGs than mmorpgs that give you the same sense of wonder, fulfillment and progression that mmo's do.

It's not like I want to play the whole game alone. I like the pvp and party dungeons too. But when I need to do a dungeon for quest or dailies and have to wait for hours  or log in at specific time to get a party, it's a pain. I just want to solo through those so that I'm not stuck because of not getting a party.

GW2 is a good game to try out if you like a lot of build variety (outside of PvP where it's meta or GTFO).

Each class has at least 3 completely different ways to play it that are almost nothing alike and often don't share a single skill in common.

The base game is free to play with none of the annoying restrictions in most F2P games and will let you get a feel for if you like it enough to buy the expansions.

TERA is also good, but has basically zero build customization.

That's why i recommend ARPGs all the more. You can hop in a group and do shit with others on the fly and not have to wait for hours because there's no "tank". Can play solo when you want, and easily can find others to group with when you want that too.
