SWG digital download for total experience?

I just was wondering if SWG total experience was able to be "legaly" downloaded anywhere? I would not care the price. Its just easier for me then getting to the store atm.

I saw on sony's site that they had the Rage of the wookies digital download that came with Jump to Light Speed for only 25 dollars. If i got this would I still need to go out and get the original game?

I dont think so, my GF tried to do that also (because her CD rom was broken) and she talked to tech support and they said that service isn't avaluable. I dont know if they mean at all or you can't download it if you have the box (my gf has the box)

the download for RotW/JTL offered by SOE is for users who already have the original SWG.  the best bet would be to buy the Total Experience package, it comes with SWG, JTL, and RotW and includes the every cool BARC speeder. 

it's only a couple bucks more then the download for the expansions alone, maybe cheaper if you shop around.

Yes you'd still need to go buy the original game. Your best bet is going to Best Buy or something and buying SWG:Total Experience off the shelves.

You could try doing a torrent search for it... someone might have it out there but no there's not an official digital download anywhere. You'd have a real hard time activating it without a key though.

can i download the "closed" trial from fileplanet.com and patch that?

If you have an account already, sure I dont' see why that wouldn't work. But if you don't already have an account it will make you create one and charge you the retail price for SWG: Empire Divided (original game) to activate the core game. I think that is $19.00

You'll still need to get the expansions though.

Breakdown and go buy it off the shelf. You won't get the reward for TE without doing so and you will have to still buy Rage of the Wookies trying to do it any other way.

If I download the closed version of Fileplanet and got a cdkey for all the expansions will I be able to patch the game so that it download the expansions too? Or do I still have to get them seperate too?

It works?! Did the expansions download as well? If so then I will be following suit! I have been following this game for quite some time and have been hesitant to buy it due to the mixed reviews. However I have come to the conclusion that I just need to finally see for myself. I already know a reputable place to purchase the cd-key.

yep everything works. Just get a serial that covers all expasions and you are set. I bought mine at http://www.dlgamer.com and downloaded the closed 10 day trail from fileplanet.com
