In a weird way, this is indicative of how gaming has changed. Used to be that no game released anywhere around a WoW expansion arrival. Now with BfA coming less than a week after MHW...well, kinda says it all.

    I know I can't wait. :)

I don't know if I'll like this game and I doubt there will be a trial or demo.. I'd like to try it but I don't want to drop that much money on it to do that.
I don't suffer from insanity, I enjoy every minute of it.

Well, Capcom can boldly take risks with the knowledge that they are standing behind one of the best games this generation.

I hope that the PC port does the game justice.

Can't believe it - only a month left to wait! With the exception of vanilla Ultima Online collector's edition delivery these were the longest 6 months of my life (since MHW's console release).

    Thank you for your time!

So what is the big issue with Denuvo? Other than it works far better than most DRM. I'm seriously asking, because some people avoid games with Denuvo at all costs, and I've never had an issue with one ever so I don't understand why other than a search brings up things like slightly degraded performance.

Those that have played it on console already, do you recommend it for us PC players?

I really wanted to like this game, but it is not for me. I tried it on PS4 a couple times and could not get into it. The combat just feels heavy and clunky to me. Honestly the game bored me to death. The monsters did look cool and the crafting system seemed pretty in depth, but i just could not get into the actual combat

Yes. I love the game a lot. There's a large variety of items to grind out, there are quite a few missions, and the game itself is just fun to play. You have to be okay with slower placed methodical gameplay though, as you have to track down the monster, damage it, find it again if it runs away, trap it, things like that. It's a hunting game.

I would recommend it if the port is good.

I can see this game doing VERY well on PC because it is a solid game overall!  Also, it will do well if there is anyway to MOD it for more fun and added adventure.

Please let us run it at an uncapped framerate. I hate when these console ports lock their framerate to 60.

To make it a good port instead of releasing a half assed port that is buggy and broken. I would much rather have a release that doesn't require third party patches to fix like Dark Souls did. And have it run at a stable frame rate, with little to no bugs. Just because it's coming out on PC doesn't mean it has to be superior graphically, as long as it looks as good, runs better, and is a good port I would say the wait is worth it.

Keep in mind though, MH is really one of those "log in when you feel like it" games plus as you said, it'll be around a week before BFA goes live. They are more-than-likely not thinking so many will pick it up for PC or at the very least will have the numbers of pre-orders they want to the point it wont matter if people play it or not assuming its not garbage on pc and people refund.

Am I silly for feeling that 30fps is an unacceptable baseline for a developer to release system requirements for? The refresh rate for all my displays are 60hz or better and I'm not a PC rig/display nut.

I can tell when a game is running significantly lower than 60fps and I HATE it.

So what are the requirements if you want a game to run at 1080p/60fps?
