So I saw a post recently about the new arena game called Zeal. I know it isn't an MMO, but it is based on MMO/Arena PvP so I feel it is relevant enough.
The main game mode atm is 2v2, but in this video I am playing 1v1's as a Wizard:
The game is in an early and rough stage, however this is pre-alpha plus they are working towards kickstarter. The game is also developed by a super small team, so to me it is quite impressive with what they have done so far.
This match up is Wizard vs. Wizard, and it has a pretty high skill cap and a lot of mind games. The Wizards kit is pretty simplistic, but there is a lot of room for play. Eventually there will be full fledged deck building. This guy was wrecking me all night, but as I learned the match up the duels started to get a lot closer.
The game is a mixture of full aiming, ground targeting, soft lock, hard lock, and self target. Your M1 Auto Attack is full aimed, and for Wizard you shoot a projectile that has a very small explosion radius (Also drains 3% resource on hit.) Thus it is better to aim near your enemy's feet. M2 is a charged Frost Blast that has a larger explosion radius, but it has a cast time.
I plan to cover more of the game, show some 2v2's and play through the other classes.
Current Classes: Cleric, Judicator, Warrior, Outlaw, Ranger, Wizard

I could play a wizard versus Wizard in a fully fledged ,highly polisheg mmorpg,so why would i be interested in 2% of a game?
Even the very old Silkroad online had this sort of pvp but was still a much better game.
Never forget 3 mile Island and never trust a government official or company spokesman.
2.) Most MMORPG PvP is really bad with very little depth.
