I think the problem with people complaining about the graphics/animations is that most alpha's, and beta's now a days are feature complete, and nothing graphics wise changes on release.

To be honest, for all the things I want to criticise about this, I am just glad that someone is developing a non-P2W non-eastern MMO. It's going to need a lot of polish, but good luck to them, I know how difficult useful criticism is at pre-alpha development, and kudos to them for showing fans such candid gameplay.

P99 and EQ1 circa 1999-2003 players who are completely satisfied with current Pantheon graphics. 

Now what they need to nail is depth and immersion of vanilla EQ1.

I was watching and thinking "hmmm, graphics are definitely good enough."

And I imagine they will get a little better.

I think the people bringing up "graphics" just don't get it. They think this is a large studio that has the resources to make amazing animations and effects and this studio is probably doing it's best to finish the game in a state that will appeal to old school players.
