ESO isnt free though, at least not that I saw. There may not be a monthly, but you still ahve to buy the game. IMO save the $10

That combination of features doesn't exist in F2P mmos. And you already said you don't like some of the paid games that do have it.

Try playing a different genre or readjust your mmo expectations.

I am playing my first mobile MMORPG that I am actually enjoying, granted I play it on bluestacks an not as a mobile.  Give ragnarok online mobile a look it is F2P and just launched this month.  It does have couple things that are annoying like the time limit till you can no longer make any real gains, but they did that to counter the afk farming so I guess it balances out.  The first one really where you can actually control what you character is doing instead of clicking on things and just auto all the time.  It does have auto run to feature on the current screen which is actually nice.  You click on the map it opens a bigger one an you click where to run to.  Makes going across the screen easier because it rotates as you run around things so running in a straight line can be rough sometimes.  Overall though is very grind heavy for crafting cosmetics but this is Ragnarok.

Overall this is a good follow up game to Ragnarok, better than the other two that claim to be.  It might work as a time filler.  Not going to be something you PVP in though so if that is a main draw for you then might as well just give up cause you are not going to find one that isn't very pay to win heavy that is F2P.  It does have group activities though and you are not going to hit level 90+ in a week either unless you really have no life whatsoever and keep the game running 24 7.  I doubt you could even do it doing that.  After 300 mins of combat time you get less for grinding, then after about another 200 you only get 10% xp till the next morning at reset.  Combat time only counts when you are actually fighting things, not running around also.
