We talk with them all the time, and they do fix many things we bring to them. A good example would be the sound issues in planes. We had to wait a few patches but low and behold there it was in the 1.19.4 readme...

Arrogance is such a strong word to use, I would be more inclined to think mabye they can be judgmental at times, defensive many times when confronted, gee wonder why...
You do realize these guys are just normal people like you and me, who get to hear everyday on the forums every gripe and criticism or complaint people have wether they've explained themselves already or not they are expected to come back and do it better this time, well they have good days and bad, and they understood things alot deeper then any of us, so they are also put in the place of having to explain things simply to others who can not know all the details. And many times make hard decisions or tell them what they know nobody wants to hear, ei: the hard decision.
I think they deal with alot of bad stuff on a daily basis and handle it more then often in a very professional and open manner. I wouldn't characterize them as arrogant at all.
