Looked at it BUT you require 3 friends to play i believe, its not solo friendly at all.
This means that not only you but several friends would have to buy it and alot of mine dont touch Early Access games or survival games no more due to the ammount of ganking that happens

I've played mostly solo on the server I play on and have not run into any problems
Who said this won't be perfect after all we know what is right And the sounds of bodies clashing is enough to make them cry. You know this cannot be perfect even when it is feeling right. And the sound of bodies crashing echo through the night.
Check out three reasons why WE thing that Rend is the survival game YOU should try! Did you mean think instead of thing? Just wanting to point out the tiny error! Cookie please!
The nicest thing i can say about it is it runs pretty well for EA compared to similar games like ARK did.
Other than that its a grinding simulator where the faction with the most dedicated players will streak ahead and snowball into domination of the other 2. The winning mechanic is who can stand to grind the most to get spirits and fill their tree first.
You can either grind sparks which will give you a massive tech advantage like tier 1-3 bows do 1-50 damage while tier 4-5 do 150-250 approx. Then with this gear advantage you go raid the other factions until they quit the game and then farm their tree. The other way is just to go farm spirits in some of the higher level zones which is running around hitting glowing balls of light and grind up the 100k to win (factions have done 30k in a night).
I could go on about how they never should have released private servers because it has spread the population up too much, the fact inventory management is just a clusterf#$k that no-one want to sort out cause its tedious, people stealing faction resources to build personal bases and thus slowing down the factions progress etc etc.
I do think they have a core of a good game but they need to remove a lot of the tedium and unnecessary grind and imbalances if they ever hope to grow the game.
I mean the fact there is no craft-able noticeboard in-game so you can provide some direction to new players says it all. You need to work as a well oiled machine and the devs provide barely any tools to do so and think random strangers will just magically overcome these things and everything will work smoothly.
Fat girls can't proof read before they post a review or what?
This game isn't for everyone and the proof is in this comment section. I've won 2 sagas and lost 1 with about 600 hours of game time in Rend. If you like hardcore pvp, grinding for awesome loot and overpowering your enemies, than this is your game. Game of the Year by far and one of the best Early Access titles to ever release and that's with 3k hours in DayZ, 4k in Rust and 6k in Ark.
If you like easy games like mmorpg's and battle royale's, this game isn't for you. See ya plebs
Then* MMORPGs* Battle Royales*

Actually this game is piss easy to win if can stand mind-numbing grinds. Grind spirits or grind sparks there you won. So much fun lol and a big reason why its playerbase has dropped nearly 2/3rds in less than 3 weeks.
I wish them the best and hope they are right in thinking the world needs another survival game with lots of grinding.

Proofread: to read in order to detect and mark errors to be corrected.
Saxon Genitive: Possession is often indicated in English by adding 's or ' at the end of the noun indicating the possessor.
Plural: Most nouns form the plural by adding s or es. ES is used: for nouns ending in -s, -ss, -sh, -ch, -x, -z. for nouns ending in -y preceded by a consonant, that make the plural with -ies.
Now I agree that MMORPG.com has too many typos in their articles, at least for my liking, but were I the kind of prick that goes around to correct other people's grammar, I would at least (YES) proofread my own post.
On a slightly unrelated note: I wouldn't go around bragging about having 13 thousand hours spent on video-games. Contrary to gamers' belief, it doesn't help you to get laid.
