Port-A-Fortress Coming To Fortnite With Next Update!

LowellsandersLowellsanders Member UncommonPosts: 134
According to FNBR Leaks, a Twitter page dedicated to leaking information about Fortnite, a new item called Port-a Fortress is coming to the game with its next update. The description for the object reads "toss down the Port-a-Fortress and take defense to new heights". From what it seems, this is going to be a significantly improved version of the Port-a-Fort.

Furthermore, with the Port-a-Fort receiving a rarity drop from the developers, a couple of weeks back, it seems it was evident that the developers had something bigger and better in mind. As a result, we believe the forthcoming Port-a-Fortress will either come in Purple or Gold which would mean that finding these in the game is going to be quite rare.

The exact release date of the upcoming Port-a-Fortress is yet to be revealed but as we know, the developers at Epic Games are quite active with releasing content for the game, we might see this new item land, sometime next week. Hopefully, in the next update.

That being said, for all those of you who are unaware, Epic Games is going through a very difficult time as their headquarters are in the direct path of Hurricane Florence. We would very much like it if you would show your support for the developers and pray for their well being

I actually forgot the PVE mode existed. I bought one of the founders packs for it years ago as well. But I was referring to the BR mode as that's the only real relevant mode at the moment.

Finally, Fortnite update v5.41 is here, and this time around, nothing too major is changing, but there are a few additions that are worth looking at. There's a new way to create a giant structure in the blink of an eye, thanks to a new throw-able item. Also coming to the game is a pre-built structure for players to experiment with in Playground Mode, as well as some console-specific changes.

Epic is also rolling back the changes it made a couple of weeks ago that let storms in the late game deal damage to structures, leaving it to once again be a builders' paradise. If you want to check out all of the changes coming to Fortnite with patch v5.41, you can check out the patch notes.

5 things to know from Fortnite patch v5.41:

    1. The New Port-a-Fortress is an upgraded Port-a-Fort.
    2. The spiky stadium is here for your enjoyment in playground mode.
    3. The storm no longer destroys structures in the last few circles.
    4. Editing structures  with a controller is a little easier now.
    5. There are no more console-specific icons in the game.
