The latest Overwatch Developer Update is out and about with Jeff Kaplan taking the reins to discuss what players can expect to see at Blizzcon 2018. While there won't be a new map presented at Blizzcon, the team will be showing off the "Overwatch World Cup Viewer" that allows viewers to see matches from "any camera or viewpoint in real time".

    That's one of the things that's rather dampened my enjoyment of watching the matches on TV -- the way they shift from one first-person view to another, then throw in some so-so long-distance view or an overhead, plus shots of the gamers or even the audience... arrrrgh! As if OW matches aren't hectic enough to be hard to follow. It must be near total confusion for most people who haven't played.

    I play Overwatch this new feature could help me get better. It will probably result in catching a few cheaters out there.

    Don't worry.. it'll take another 2 and a half to actually release it... lets be real here... they are going to milk anticipations for basic fucking features as much as they can
