Just saw something that was too difficult to pass up. An OLED E8 model for the same price as a B8. So... Will update in a couple weeks when I got it setup. Crossing fingers that it isn't a headache.
I have read reports that these oled tv's suffer from burn in and some people have issue with stutter though this is more of an issue with lower fps content.
I have a C7 that I use for PS and movies. Haven’t hooked a PC up to it for gaming, but the Mac mini I have for my HTPC runs at either 4K/60 or 1080 120hz. No quality control issues after about a year now, and after watching anything on the OLED, even IPS monitors look somewhat washed out. The black levels combined with HDR make a significant difference to me.
Alright got it setup. Looks like I didn't get a lemon. No backlight bleed. No dead pixels. No burn in. Also the Styrofoam on the sides really helped as handles to move this around. The glass weighs a lot. The color reproduction is amazing. I have gotten used to a bit being lost in translation to digital. Never knew how much was lost. It's looks so real.
The issue with OLED is the price at larger screen size right now - my living room has a huge wall and the seating area is far enough to where anything less than 80" looks small.
77" OLED is $7000 - yeah, gonna wait til prices come WAY down.

Good HDR content is ~amazing~ on these screens. It's like looking out an open window on a clear day.
Alright, I have found a major problem with OLED. The uncanny valley becomes obvious. The picture with HDR content is so good that you can tell something is CG. Was just watching the Aquaman trailer and man that uncanny valley was very noticeable.

Same here since last years Black Friday. No issues whatsoever, no burn in, quality / picture / performance = rock solid
