How come only WoW does this well?

Any other game I play, when I increase my screen resolution, all the screen interface items shrink accordingly, making it hard to read things. In WoW, this is not the case. What do they do differently from a design perspective?

    There are a lot of games that scale well to various resolutions, though there are also a lot that don't.  It's pretty easy to make a UI scale up or down cleanly if you have that in mind from the start.  It's much harder to retrofit it in later after there are a zillion constants hard-coded in all over the place.

    EVE is a game that is terrible at scaling which is exasperated by most things being text boxes and menus

    Some folks can't play because of this.

    Here's the bottom line ! 
    Graphics are subjective, everyone has their opinion.  One person loves it the next hates it. 


    I'm actively playing "Vanilla World of Warcraft from 2004".   It's now 2018, I have a power rig with all setting at max.  

    It's absolutely beautiful at max settings ALL OF IT !! 
    No glitches, bugs or disconnects, no one is having problems, no one is running into walls, no one is getting bad camera angles when in a small rooms or caves.   

    BUILD ALL GAMES LIKE THIS ! 
    Drop technology and make a great game.

    Any decent game has UI adjustments for higher resolutions. Some do it automatically and others let you set it how you like. If you think WOW is the only one that does it I'd say your experience with other games is pretty limited.
