I could think of many other ideas, either other games or just on a different subject entirely. WoW definitely wouldn't be anywhere on my list for a Netflix series. I rarely watch movies, let alone a television. I prefer gaming.

Didn't we just a movie about this? That bombed? I don't think even Netflix is desperate enough for content to paper this turd over with bundles of cash. Better make some more Twilight TV show, they'd look like Tolkien next to this.
Like the game or not; It has interesting characters and no lack of lore to draw from. Their cinematic generally garner praise and I think, if nothing else, it'd make a pretty decent fantasy series.
Weren't they working on a Diablo series for Netflix? If that's still in the works, and ends up doing well, I can imagine a world where that partnership might extend to other IPs from Blizzard....in a "fun end-of-the-day thing to think about" sense at least.
An animated series would be cool, I liked Castlevania.
Or like the Clone Wars... sounds good to me if done correctly.

That ME: Andromeda intro music gives me a bad feeling about that "serie".
Now I'd pay real money for a Mass Effect prequel series on Netflix. The Spectre Chronicles, even.

I'd probably watch it for about 20 minutes, the same amount of time I lasted with the Warcraft movie.
The problem with the WoW movie was it being done like an extended trailer. The should have chopped it up and released it as a web series.

If it was done I would want it done just like the video all cinematic, no live action crap. I always wondered why they didn't do something with the guys that did their cinematic trailers as they have looked better throughout the years than a lot of stuff put out by some great animated studios.
With the abomination that Netflix is turning The Witcher into, i don't think i'd want them to go anywhere near any more 'game' related IP's, particularly ones i like.
The lore of WoW has become an unfathomable mish mash to accommodate the latest DLC. That would not suit a TV series at all, but if they stuck to the early years it would make sense.
