This may be old news but I just read it on my Google News Feed. Did a search here but didn't see it.  I may have missed it though.
 

Yes, Ubisoft has announced on their official Twitter that Project Stream is giving the free copy of Assassin's Creed Odyssey for the participants!

Project Stream is Google's first attempt at streaming video games over the internet using the Chrome browser. And the free PC copy of Assassin's Creed Odyssey offer will end on January 15.

I've also notice that every service seems to be giving away a free game this holiday season or something free from their cash shop.  I've gotten a few free games and cash shop items so far just by checking out their sites.

They don't sound very confident with their streaming service if they are offering a retail copy which will render the streaming feature obsolete.
