Christmas and melee weapons!

6stack_Chris6stack_Chris Member UncommonPosts: 118

It is that time of year again, to hang out with friends, family, or just your cat and play video games!

The team working on Zy Universe would like to wish you all a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. It has been a fun couple of years developing Zy Universe and we wanted to give you all something special for the holidays. So, here you go... Melee Weapons!

We are designing and testing tons of melee weapons for Zy Universe to give you many weapon options while engaged in battle. Keep checking back to see all the fun stuff or even help us with testing Q1 2019.

Enjoy your Holidays and we will see you in 2019!

I realized that despite 12 threads created here in the past year there's never been a single reply, so let me be one of the first to do so.

Reading through most of the posts however sort of explains why.

Like this one, there's no clear vision on what exactly your team is trying to build.

Is it an RPG, seems you now are working on a match shooter, can we assume BR is next, as that's what all the kool kids are doing these days.

It was 2D side scroller,  now its 2.5D, or is it 3D as I see you are now replacing the store bought unity assets.

Consider elaborating more on what's happening, take this thread, why say you are giving melee weapons for Christmas?

Those are pretty much mainstays of any RPG so seems odd to be featuring them like a recent addition unless your team is sharing details on how they look with the new graphic models.

Social Media, Discord, videos etc. Yes, I realize its what all the hipsters use to communicate,  but this site has many who prefer written communications,  web sites, news posts vs more modern methods.

Words that should never be written, (at least here)  "check out our Discord for more information."  :#

This is literally the first RPG / Multiplayer game totally ignored by both the site staff and the community, especially odd since they actually gave the game its own thread.

Thanks for continuing to try and share info here and let's hope you can gain a bit more traction which starts by posting of a very clear vision in 2019.

Thanks for the feedback and I'll keep it in mind and be sure to write up a post for the new year explaining what we are, the project etc.

    Have a Merry Christmas!
