I don't care about $15. And since I'm extremely tired of everything out there right now, should I give this game a month of play just to see something different? Or is it that bad that I should just donate my money to another game?

My original post would have said there are two possible outcomes (both bad)
1. You hate it and wasted $15. . no biggie 2. You love it and development has stopped (that would be horrible!)
After checking the site I realized that it looks like they are still making changes? I think this is likely to be at a snails pace but it is something.
3. You don't love it or hate it but get $15 out of it.
If you do try it out let me know what you think. I had a similar thing happen lately and bought something like that. I refunded (rarely do that) almost right away after I realized there are soooo many little games on Steam for under $15 that are likely great indie games. I grabbed one of those and almost finished it. I think that actually scratched the itch more and got me through the tough times

I was in the same situation as you and bought it a while back. Don’t be like me, be smart.

'This does not apply just to ED but SC or any other game. What they will get is Rebirth/X4, likely prettier but equally underwhelming and pointless.
It is incredibly difficult to design some meaningfull leg content that would fit a space ship game - simply because it is not a leg game.
It is just huge resource waste....'
