MMO's (Shadowbane) Resort to common banditry to collect monthly fee's..

1st off, i am an average MMO player. I started playing MMO's when Everquest came out, and gave up all hope when they launched World Of Warcraft.

Going through the death knell of MMO payment plans, i recentntly signed up for Shadowbane.

If your in the same position as me, let me warn you that UBI soft & every other companywill:

A) make you account page difficut to reach (should have been obvious, but this is THE WAY IT IS)

use any trickery availably to make your account page difficult to reach.

 

 

Wasted words im sure, as i doubt i would take council in the warning's of the MMO.COM poster either..but it has to be done.

Erm.... EverQuest, all SOE games in fact, are VERY easy to find your billing information. Open the launcher and hit "Account Information"

Duh.

WoW isn't hard to find either.

Umm, your account page is infact incredibly easy to reach for Shadowbane.

Simply open up the patcher and hit my account button at the top. Sign in, and there you go.

Now that I think of it, I have never played an MMORPG, and I have played alot, where it was difficult to find my account page. Just gotta be observent.

Anarchy Online's unsubscribe page is very easy to find and use. I know I've used it at least 4 times now.

um, SB's account info is easy to find.... simple infact........ so, either one... you're blind, or two your just here to flame SB?

Have to agree with these replies - most MMOs make it easy enough to change account info that a 10 year old could breeze through it. Shadowbane is easier than many, and certainly not at ALL hard.

If you can't cancel your SB account, I strongly suggest you head back to 2nd grade. That seems to be about where your reading comprehension is at.

as far as I know the only mmo that was hard to unsubscribe, was mxo, (by phone), but SOE bought it so it's not a problem now (as many people unsubscribe from SOE, rotten reaking #@!$!3.....) but I digress. I've never had a problem, because I just beta'd mxo.

Never had that problem once, even having to phone in my cancelation with some. But, even that only took max two minutes. And Ive unsubscribed from Shadowbane twice.
