Ubisoft has created alright games lately. I've been enjoying Watch Dogs, Division 1, and the latest Far Cry.
Hope the next installment takes the game to a less predictable setting though. The environment of FC5 & New Dawn felt a bit generic. Africa/ the prehistoric age/ the Himalayas were good.
Played it until I got hit with a progress stopping bug on the prophecy mission, reported it, got told it was a known issue and Ubi would one day fix it, uninstalled it and went back to playing Metro Exodus. Only regret was buying Far Cry 5.5
Is the game similar to Fallout 4, where it's basically a single player RPG.
I can never finish those games . . . as i've bought FO4, Witcher 3,a nd Dark souls 3 and can't finish any of them or even have interest in them.
I'd say it's more like Assassin's Creed in terms of game flow and how you approach it. Eventually, all the points of interest will be on the map for you. You can find them yourself before that but you don't have to feel like you need to check every house, cave or barn you see because you know you'll be able to see if you missed anything later. It's a very low maintenance open world experience.
First person shooter first, light RPG elements second.
I don't suffer from insanity, I enjoy every minute of it.
