Survivalist and blowing things up with a crossbow!

All of it looks interesting and playing in the beta was very enjoyable.
I'm REALLY looking forward to this. :)

The endgame missions tempered my expectations for this one, but everything before that mission screamed fun to me.

I'll be keeping an eye on reviews after release, specifically end game content reviews, before jumping in.  Would've taken the same approach to Anthem had I not only needed to spend $15 to play it as much as I (can't see myself playing a looter shooter for more than a month straight without taking a break, anyhow).

The specializations are okay, but it will really depend on how far the special skills go with the specializations.  For example, the demolotionist got a new turret that fires mortars, the survivalist had a rolling grenade that heals... how far will that be taken across the different abilities?  That's really what will set people apart in their specializations, more than the weapons, as the crossbow and grenade launcher are somewhat similar.

Yes and with cash shop and loot crates and cheating oh joy.It would be such a NEW experience, grab gun, shoot gun, pick up loot YAY such fun,so glad developers are giving us so many copy cat games.
These games, especially the sequels should be selling for 20 bucks.,they are nothing more than mods/dlc's/addons.

Game to game, most all of the work is done by the artists, the rest  are just copy paste.Hey if people are willing to fork over money for sub par gaming, keep on selling it !!.

I'd prefer a video of decent "start-game" i.e. character creator. Those ugly female faces are noticeable even in this clip, from a distance.

    Thank you for your time!

Really tough to see any female faces in that video. The few you do see are either covered or very much at a distance, and from that distance, they don't look bad at all.

That being said, watching the cutscenes from the story, they don't have bad female faces, but we don't know to what extent we'll be able to modify the faces.  Sure we'll have a lot of options, but will we be able to move features around and stuff like that?  No clue as of yet.

The randomization of the faces before really gave you awful options, I just randomized my guy until I had a beard, a hat and glasses.  So whether or not you end up liking the faces, or hating them, you can cover them up pretty good.. though women wouldn't have beards, but I'm sure you can find a nice scarf.

No. It's time for Battle Royale games to go the way of the MOBA.

Really looking forward to this game!
I hope the endgame is enough to keep it going until the next update.

I'm excited to try out what you can do with specializations, as well as the brand sets on top of that.
I only played the beta for a short period because I didnt want to invest a lot of time in to a character that would reset.
But from what I played, I definitely enjoyed it.

It seems to keep you more on your toes and thinking while playing compared to other looter shooters

To be fair, Division 1 had a form of BR way before the BR craze took off in survival mode which was awesome.

On that note are all the old modes going to be in Div 2, such as underground and survival?

Supposedly, yes.  All the things from division 1 will be there and then some.

Three boring specializations. So basically most people will go Sharpshooter, since Demo will be explosion related, and survivalist will have some regen mechanics/ammo bs. SS will probably be highest DPS spec. Callin it.

Sure, sharpshooter is highest DPS... if you are good at headshots.  You only get the bonus damage on sniper rifles with headshots.

We don't know what the sharpshooter special skills will be.  From the early skills we had access to, the demolitionist is the only one that gets damaging specialization skills.

It's highly unlikely everyone will go sharpshooter, each specialization has their own benefits. I plan to go survivalist. The crossbow felt the best out of the 3 specialization weapons, it has the straight, easy to aim shots of the sniper rifle with the explosive power of the grenade launcher.  It's very versatile.

Beta was very fun, loved the exploration. Very much improved on all the good things in TD1 imo. The Clan system appears rather robust. Specialization Weapon Skill Trees appear to give many more customizations although it hasn't been shared how you get points for it yet. Found it interesting from a recent video on that subject that there were talents for getting more specialization ammo drops for your team. In beta apparently, I had thought the specialization ammo drops appeared low. Later I found out they were more conditional based like based on how an enemy died when you used the weapon like headshot or dying under the effects of a condition kinda thing.

In anycase, I'm excited for this one.
