The latest patch isn't going to help players. My sis migrated to the WoW forums as the world is dead of content; players; the new form of Gearscore; people selling raids for real money.
The game has become a work simulator instead, not entertainment anymore. Everything feels not as an adventure, but a computer generated chore.
BfA hands down did what even Cata didn't for me: I only played it for 3 weeks. The game is this now: buy the game; level to end game; and unsub. Come back in a year and then play catch up. No woes from the bugs (sis couldn't use her neck piece for 3 days due to a Blizzard glitch on the first day, for example. The GM had to mail her a new one); save $130 in subs; and get everything done in 2 weeks top, then.
World of Warcraft: Classic, It is not going to be anything the hyping kind think it will be, just another game for you all to whine about.
Angst is real.
I think i did play allmost every mmorpg out there, but never this. Should i try or not? lol
In the current state of WoW? I won't recommend it.
IF Blizzard has expansion servers, sure. Then folks can play how the games played then, and pick how they prefer to play.
I like WotLK. The last expansion with skill trees that were fun, and the last expansion before Blizzard tried to force the MOBA game play.
Someone else would like TBC. Another (god forbid) Cata. MoP has roleplay written all over it for RPers. Each expansion has it's own charm and abilities that made it different in how it's played.
But the current mess called BfA? Solitaire is more entertaining, seriously.

It'll be RETRO vanilla, but not the real vanilla experience. Those who played on the private servers weren't playing vanilla WoW, either. They played the a facsimile only.
I want a kul Tiras druid.. But I dont wanna farm for it
Why would or should someone need to farm for a racial character choice? Why? How does that make game play sense? Well, it doesn't does it? It's a time-sink grind for the sake of putting in time. There's an argument that it acts as a cheap content substitution but who even cares at this point. The level of "WTF Over" is pretty much off the charts.
More so, when all that rep grind in Legion for Nightborne rep, Horde gets them. Like they need 2 elves races even.

Then I read an article by @BillMurphy about the wonders of ESO, and I haven't been seen in any other game since. It's all his fault! :P
When you look at some of Blizzard's game design decisions over the past year, it makes one wonder, if WoW devs actually play their own game still.
