Welcome back to another edition of The Eorzea Prospect! Last time we looked at the current state of the game, along with some questions that needed an answer from Tokyo Fan Fest. That time has come and gone, we’ve gained some insight on some things, while still speculate on others. Today we’ll touch shortly on gearing up for the expansion, and at the end get into the juicy details that were released at Tokyo Fan Fest over the weekend!

    I dont think I'll bother with the new expac, I do go back from time to time, but I cant do the gear grind anymore and while most MMO's are about that, this game is entirely hinged on it and any/all progress is locked behind it. In ESO, I can doodle along and use gear I get from mobs and be fine to do anything providing youve got the right build. I must be getting old. :P

    Another reason I think ESO is the best MOM out.

    I am extremely excited for Dancer and the build up up the MSQ of the expansion has been phenomenal. I can’t think of an expansion I’ve been more excited for on any game I’ve played. That being said; I am highly disappointed about the gender locked races but it won’t make me quit.

    Legitimately the subscription-based MMorpg with the brightest future right now. Currently it's popularity is at Lich King level; it's pretty nuts.

    dude ... i wont be apart of that founder crap start up crap,
    you be a founder, and the game never comes out.
    so on that note .......FF14 is  the best game ive ever played,
    and im counting the days for my dancer.

    They keep teasing Xbox and now potentially Switch ports... my poor heart cannot take any more teases!

    Need this game on XB1 stat!

    Any new players in need of gear and short of funds on NA-Diabolos: I (Anias Xyne) am willing to craft you some decent gear to help you along so long as I am not in the Golden Cactus (trying to get a mount). I can craft most anything.

    The new dungeon gives you 375 gear, and i'm a new player (kinda) and it was not hard at all to gear up.
    I'm now rocking 6 lvl70's with ilvl of 370-380. I only used gil to craft the 380 weapons, rest from tomes, trials, alliance raids.

    Disappointed by gender lock races, lack of new healer since HW, and lack of information regarding what truely matter: combat system, gear progresion changes?, class balance, previous half done content (blue mage), relic changes, new open world content?, etc.

    Almost every MMO is based on gear, go play GW2 then if you don't like that.

    They've ALWAYS given the information for that stuff in May, as they've done with Heavensward and Stormblood. You're complaining for no reason.
