    @Sovrath

    Yea I saw it already :) It seems like there's a ton to do PVE wise and that good for me. It might not be stellar or highly innovative but if it releases here in a good working condition I'll give it a try.

    @Thane

    They're playing the Thai version that's why there's those mix of languages. They already have some sections of the game in english which is good for us.

    Surely one MMORPG at a time is enough, or have they all become such frivolous games that it only pays to be a butterfly gamer?

    I'm still hopeful for future mmos. I still check what's coming out and see if they're interesting, and for now A:IR is the top one as it's steampunk.

    Whether it's going to be good or bad we shall see
    Maybe this will help ...

    wtf is wrong with the text? english names on chars, and then.... what is that, hindy text on quests and stuff?

    seriously,  if a company can't even decide on one bloody language - or even one letter set, i think i rather skip that one. there will obviously be more inconsistence
    I believe the company that made it is from Taiwan, so their mmorpg was released (?) earlier in that country and for that language. From my understanding the developers of that country are pretty good with English translations and adaptation, so, while not necessary from their standpoint, they have done some preliminary localisation work.

    Back to the point of this thread, I'm currently playing one mmorpg, while having on hiatus at least 5 more. That mmorpg right now is FFXIV.

    Unfortunately none. I'm wondering if my almost two decade run has come to a end. Iv returned to all my favorites over the past few months but nothing grabs me like it use to. I'm getting more enjoyment out of single player games and MMO lite CO-OP's

    Vendetta Online, for the combat and the economy, although I will occasionally dip into Ryzom for the ambiance.

    LOTRO is the only one that actually deserves my money anymore.

    I think FFXIV would be worth it if I could stomach the weird setting.

    I think it is the reverse, where Burn-Out is a real thing with these games, so, splitting up some time between them is for the best, to break up the motnanty of a single game. Especially if it is different kinds of games.

    Just COH currently

    Brenics ~ Just to point out I do believe Chris Roberts is going down as the man who cheated backers and took down crowdfunding for gaming.

    The very process of playing many games at once makes you want to play more games for less time each. It is like getting into the habit of flicking from one channel to another or the habit of starting a film and finishing it later. You are not doing your attention span any good for one thing.

    As to burn out, you need to make sure you don't get to that point. When playing a MMO I have breaks from it but I don't play any MMOs in the breaks. Over a longer cycle of time I have breaks from gaming. That's the only good way to handle burn out, playing other similar games is not helping as much as you think.

    Been CoH.  No Man Sky if that counts these days.  Black Desert and ESO for short times but find them mostly boring.

    You asked for clarification, which I tried to offer. To turn around tell anyone else how they should play a game is kinda contentious, don't you think?

    GW2, ESO, TD2.  Not so much now as I just started taking a break the next week or so, until;
    GW2, living story 5
    ESO, Necro
    TD2, RAID and additional content launch.

    CoH, like most of the older players I know.  Just a little of Path of Exile, but that's run up against one of those execrable boss fights.

    If you are holding out for the perfect game, the only game you play will be the waiting one.

    Nothing.
    I keep looking for an interesting world to explore, a game that feels like a complete world where I can lose myself in. A game that doesn't feel like a game.

    Edit: Actually, I'm looking for a world, not a game.

    Once upon a time....

    None at the moment. Last one I truly played was SWTOR before it went FTP. In fact, I have stopped playing anything that is FTP---because they aren't.

    Let's party like it is 1863!

    Always each to their own, that's how I handle burn out, seems to work for me.
