I hope so much that they will make clever respawning this time ,, and get rid of that outdated respawn that almost every game use.
1. there is nothing worst then, when u r fighting and then just as you are about to finish your enemy , something respawn behind you and finish you off instead, thats so annoying that all you can say is grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
2. i think that creature should never respawn in front or behind you nor even close to area where player is standing. they should respown only if there is no player in the area or somewhere else and then come across you .
3.would be much better if lets say dragons and all other flying creatures would respawn high in the sky and then fly down so you could have choice to fight them or run away , thats how in real world would unless it is a special creature design with ability to teleport and respawn out of nothing,,, in the same way wolfs could come out of some hole like wolf den etc.......
i think that game should give us that feeling of real magic world where we encounter monsters and not makes us feel thats it is a just stupid game with mechanic that respawn creatures out of nothing every 5 seconds around us ,,, that also would destroy feeling of achievements
imagine yourself in a cave where you went with a mission to destroy some brigands ... and if after you came to the end of the cave, killing all of them , they still keep respowning on your way back, you will loose pleasure of achievements ....pleasure of that you done something ,mission become boring and unimportant ,like it does not matter whatever you do, you r actions will not have an impact on the world..... but it would be nice that our action do have impact on the world at least while we are in that instance
so i believe in instanced cave , killed monsters should not respawn again not till we leave the cave

There will be no respawning whatsoever in DDO, as all quests/adventures will be instanced.
Spawning/respawning was something they wanted to specifically do away with in the game, as it is not characteristic of D&D.
