A game such as Pantheon will require above average use of your time as compared to modern mmorpgs.
It's a matter of how much you want to be part of this experience. Low, medium high, or not at all.
I look at it this way… Active people sit and relax too. Yes I'm bold in saying everyone sits, unless you hold three jobs. If so, theirs always Elder Scrolls Online, or other basic adventure games.
I like many others will choose to put this game "as priority with free time".
I'll emphasize this phrase PRIORITY FREE TIME. It's the time I have to sit….. Sounds lazy right ?
Lazy !!
I'm 56, with a "full time job" that I trained all my life, it brought me all over the world to do it. I actively do Kungfu at least a half hour most days and studied this for over 28 years. I'm married going on two years now and taking care of a beautiful 7 year old severally handicap little granddaughter that I would do anything for. I have a huge yard I take care of and help the wife with a lot of stuff. I'm also an active member of Alcoholics Anonymous with 30 years sober and yes I help others and have many friends. I also plan on Deer hunting again next winter, because I'm pressured by friends.
After I click on the post now button, I'll think of several other things I do in real life.
Bragging or bullshit ?...... Nonsense !
Yet I have time for immersion, and enough time for a real mmorpg. Infact I have time to create my nonsense here and have Pathfinder Kingmaker downloading right now, it's baking in the oven !
I'll be playing Pantheon deeply….. The only difference is, I may not be able to commit to allocated times. I've always had a great work around for that….. I control the adventures every time I log in. And keep a large friends list.
I'll see you in game, that’s if you WANT to play immersive.

Do I win a cookie for guessing the identity of the man behind the keyboard?
I have to give a ton of respect for people that take care of severely handicapped children as I think those are the best of people.
Awesome job on AA for 30 years. I also consider myself an alcoholic too but i've never had alcohol in my life, I figure that if i were to try it, given my super addictive personality, i'd be addicted to it hardcore.
I am definitely in need of video gaming anonymous but aren't we all.
peace. I'm 38 and my death and retirement will be simultaneous.

Old MMORPG's did not have great systems, so going back to them isn't a good thing.
Forced gouping? Bad idea. Forced group role requirements? Bad idea.
Not sure about other stuff because they have a very uninformative website. Doesn't bode well for the hopes of making a good game if they can't figure out the internet.
So, what is the group size? If it's anything other than any size, bad idea.
If you like ox drawn carts, that's fine, just don't try to tell me they are better than cars. I'll wait for a better car thank you.
If they can't get the basic part of the game working well all the other stuff doesn't really matter.
It seems the players alone time will be spent on self improvement to make your character viable for group play. It's like the old saying, take the log from you own eye before you take the spec from your brothers. If you could attain a great character, by collecting things in the world and putting them together, your more valuable when grouping. This to me is great stuff.
Now with this unique ability to do things such as this that had become lost over the years and enhance this experience.... I hope they can design a system that will allow players to find others quickly by having a lean LFG system. Something more personal than what we had been given by World of Warcraft that made the world a lonely place.
I hope it happens naturally so the players still feel connected.
