    Just tested out my robot MM, does seem they changed it yeah.
    That's a nice improvement as I stopped playing that char in part because of it previously.

    The pets will expire if the person you are sidekicked to gains a level while on team.  An edge case though.

    If you are holding out for the perfect game, the only game you play will be the waiting one.
