But aren't you betraying yourself by having played MH? Your hard line on microtransactions should apply to it, and it had a particularly bad business model. The f2p hero unlock system was atrocious.
I found their business model exemplary for a f2p offering, and had no trouble unlocking the vast majority of characters available through game play. Everything I did purchase was out of desire rather than a feeling of need to make the game tolerable, which itself is pretty decent for f2p.
This is my gauge for f2p games. If the game never makes me feel the need to buy things, I usually end up buying things.

I honestly hope they release something like Marvel Heroes, it was the perfect time killing game and my favorite superhero game.

There are a few games out there with vague similarity, but they are mainly fantasy based and likely a bit too vague for the appeal to be certain.
If you don't mind playing older solo PC games, Freedom Force and the sequel Freedom Force Vs. The 3rd Reich, may help tide you over until something more on target comes along.
They are available through Good Old Games and Steam. They are cheaper on Steam, but I have seen reviews that say those on GoG perform better. Steam has free demos of each.
The games aren't based on licensed heroes and don't play exactly like MSH, but the characters are superheros nonetheless, and you may enjoy the gameplay regardless.
Something to consider, anyway.
Edit: Just bought this on GoG myself. Fair warning, it is much more difficult than MSH, but you can save progress so if you do pick it up it keep that in mind.
It is similar to Baldur's Gate or Icewind Dale, with real time combat with pause, starting with one hero but up to four concurrently eventually on missions, selected out of a larger roster.
The game does allow you to make your own heroes, but it is not very sophisticated. It apparently has some form of multiplayer. It apparently has some mod support still available, with adaptations of more famous heroes from the comics, and apparently player designed missions and campaigns still available for download.
