Good, about time a raid boss wasn't killed in the first week. I love all the millennials screaming the raid isn't fair because they can't kill a boss in a raid or the days of not having mods telling you what to do, what to expect, when to expect it, where to stand, where to move, when to brush your teeth, when to wipe your ass, when to yank your crank. Its ridiculous the shit mods do nowadays.
Bring back the days of raid bosses taking a long time to progress through. Just maybe longevity of mmo's would come back. None of this instant gratification shit we have nowadays.
I think Method is more hardcore then anyone you have ever known and have been for many years. You really must be joking, your millenials reference kind of gave your agenda away. Raging about one of the most hardcore raiding guilds in the world being casuals is laughable at best.
/Cheers, Lahnmir
My agenda? I have no agenda other than speaking the truth when it comes to people crying about the difficulty of a raid or raid boss. MMO's have gone downhill for many reasons but I feel the biggest reason is how accessible/easy they are. For once, Im glad to see a raid boss isn't being taken down in a week(especially a raid that gets tested by these players for at least a month prior to it releasing live) and all I see is players bitching or crying about it being too difficult. Why shouldn't it?
Im only replying to this because Im glad to see something actually challenging for once, even seeing top guilds struggling to defeat it. Articles like this further prove my point that players are complaining. You go to any online gaming site, its practically the same shit. Players sstruggling to kill boss in newest WoW raid, etc, etc.
That said, it doesnt change how I feel about mods and how easy things have become in current mmos and yes, this generation is to blame for it. Shits given out like candy on Halloween else all hell breaks lose and players cry or bitch which in turn forces devs to cave in and cater to it.
Lol are you actually arguing that any mmo has raids harder than WoW's mythic raids? Sorry I don't thinnk there is group content in any other mmo so far that is as hard as wows mythic raids.
finally somebody understand. To think that wow mythic raiding is easy makes me think that you never even tried wow mythic raiding while its current. If Method or Limit did it in 2 weeks that means you will never do it with your guild. because your guild belongs in that 99.99 guilds category. Method, Limit, Pieces are 0.003 guilds in the world. its like You compared to Lebron James or Kobe or Messy. they are pros and we are not.
So is there a normal mode for a Raid in WoW or is content just not seen by most people
yes there is Raid Finder ( easy, everybody can do it). Normal (a ittle bit harder than raid finder). Heroic mode (you better do it with your guild. its almost imposible to clear it with random people). and than there is Mythic mode. only one guild in the world did it currently and it took them 13 days of basically non stop playing. about 600 attemts I believe
you know whats weird.. i'm technically a millennial being 35 years old but if i look up, generational upbringing and generational traits apparent with each generation.. i'm much more akin to a Gen X than a millennial.
So i don't really get how they work out dates for each generation, because i don't identify with many if any of the millennial "traits", but i'm pretty much spot on to the upbringing etc.. of a gen xer.
Either way blaming generations for anything is super ignorant, none of us are perfect we've all made mistakes and done the best we could with what we had available at the time, each generation hates the next and future generations will blame our generations for things that were probably not even in our control so it is what it is.
I was out and about the other day and this guy was yelling at his wife in public. Like real bad. To the point were people were calling the cops. I got between it and told him to calm down. He told me that millenials wouldn't understand putting woman in their place. He was 32 so I had the pleasure of telling him that he was millenial as well. That shut him up really quick when I explained to him that anyone 39 or younger is a millenial. It isn't just teenagers or young adults.
Maybe that's because Teenagers/Young Adults(some) are not Millenials?
They are Generation Z(some call them Centennials).
Could that be why you "shut him up" because he was just confused/baffled( I know I would be).
Just a few quick references to support what I already knew:
side note.. that genHQ link is questionable on the dates it has listed for the generations.
even your first link disagrees with the dates they have listed and basically every other online resource has a different opinion.
Infact it seems like no one can seem to agree on where most generations end, so i dunno if there is any real right answer, because for the most part it seems like guess work based on social trends, which is based a lot around upbringing.

Thats the funny thing to me is people asked for WoW classic and then when I was in beta I was stunned by no quest markers. Few seconds later people in chat were telling people to download mods that let them see quest markers and the like. So what was the point of asking for classic if you were going to mod it to oblivion anyway?
But that's how WoW has always been. Everyone had addons, in every iteration of WoW. The content will still be significantly more time consuming and be harder than current WoW, even with quest markers.
I'm sure people will rerelease those old Zygor addons that threw a giant green arrow on your screen telling you the exact path to take to level to max.
I definitely won't be using those addons, but if people wanna ruin their experience with them, that's their choice.
