When I first started playing this game, it was kinda boring and I didn't understand why people liked it so much. But after getting off pre-searing, it was pretty good. So I suggest u keep playing until u consider it fun

The best PvP is Guild vs. Guild. And there are quite a few maps for PvP. Plus the Hall of Heroes is always a blast. But we have been promised more PvP content with each expansion. I can't wait!

I looked on the Guild Wars first page and saw atleast four. I mean seriously, do you have to come here and bash the game. Obviously none of these people have ever had to write an essay, where you have to back up your statements. GvG is by sure the best part. Play with a group of 8 live players.
Tombs and arenas are just a way to pass the time to me... When people ask about fame... I chuckle and amglad I didn't waste my time in them.
I better grouping system could make tombs more enjoyable... But trying to make a group from random people results in a loss... if you can even make it past the PvE intro. And if try to take the time to make an organized build and get everyone in voice chat that could take 30mins plus.
And if you have enough people in your guild on to do tombs... you'll just GvG instead.
I have to say I found this game boring, the graphics were okay, but genrally I've played much, much, better. It most certainly feels like a single player game dressed up as an mmorpg, which annoyed me when I started playing. I've got to invite people into a group before i go through the swirly thing to do my quests? WTF??!!!??? That is not mmorpg! Then when i do the quests nobody else is there, no chat, no people just passing by who may stop to help you. Sure if you want to play a singleplayer game then this is for you, but it certainly doesn't merit the rankings people have given this mess. So, do not waste your hard earned on this rubbish, you'll regret it.

you don't have to invite people into your group. The chat windows still exist in the instanced areas, you just have to know who you are going to talk to. There are no passers by because most of the areas are wilderness, inhabited by danagerous monsters. In GW you are not a peon, you are RP'ing a legendary hero.
Pre-searing is not the game. So many people come to the GW forums saying 'im level 5 and there is nothing to do', without understanding that pre-searing is the intro and tutorial.
If you want to criticise GW, criticise the unbalanced spirits, WaW system or EU server lag, not game mechanics that were well advertised and anyone with half a brain cell knew were in place beforehand.

True some people dont have the luxury to pay for good on line games, why? because they spend their money on something else.. such as going to puvs or doing university... even I hesitate to pay monthly fees unless it really is cheap because I'm saving for my university fees. I have some better plans for my money rather than waste $15 a month for a game... cummulatively thats $180 for a whole year and I dont have the luxury to pay for such expenses... Of course I believe you have a decent work or maybe you mom pays for you expenses, you are a lucky git... while some of use here arent.

not realy. Although the name of the site is MMORPG, it seems to cover more then just that. Planetside is not MMORPG but MMOFPS and yet its there. I think MMORPG.COM is more about MMO then RPG part.

You cant even be your own in this game, the armor all looks the same for your class, and there like 5 diffrent kinds of armor in the game if that. The PVP is fun for a bit, but it all depends on your team with normaly consist of 2 9 year olds, and a pre-teen, which just makes you pissed off. The game shouldnt have been released when it did, there is a lot of work to be done, along with MANY glitchs and bugs that this game has.
And yes i have played this game, i have a level 20 built up PvE style, so i know how this game is, The quest are like WoW, they are the Exact same, just diffrent mob, and the missions arent even that well designed to be hard, can barrel through most in about 10 min in a good group. I feel more accomplished when i actually work for my stuff and advance and look diffrent from people. If you want a game with pvp and actual good gameplay, i would go with Diablo 2: Lords of Destruction.
But if you can deal with glitchs, 9 year olds, many bugs, can get stuck dead for hours, and cant look diffrent then the next scout or necro you run by.
Id say try before buy, cause this is a definate waste of money if you have ever played and like a MMO in your life. But this really isnt a MMO, its Diablo 2 without channels.. the cities are the channels and missions are the games, and quest are you soloing loooking for loot in Diablo 2.

Just can said that I disagree with all of your . My guild have people from 16-45 and I even know some 60+ player . But as some poll in other gw official board, most people are 15-30.

- In my opinion Gw is one of the best bugs free program since I play almost 20 online games (Do you remember pickup bug from some game ). Also, the performance is best, rarely lag occurs even with the old PC.

I agree with Gradet on the lack of content (comparing to games like WoW and EQ2), but I cant stress it enough - this game was NOT designed to be another MMORPG, it has RPG elements but its NOT an RPG. If you were looking to play a MMORPG, you made a mistake. I actualy made the same mistake, I bought GW to theoreticaly replace WoW/EQ2. I was a bit disapointed at first because its not as rich in content, quests etc as those 2 games. But as I found later, it compensates well with PvP and fast paced combat. Thats what it was designed for - PvP, not RPG.
When I PvP in groups, I rarely see any kids or noobs playing with me. So about 70-80% ofthe time i have a random, but solid team. If you make friends and join a good guild - even better! Stable and powerfull groups for the win.

I am 27, I have a good federal job with benefits and I play Guild Wars. Not because I can't afford WoW. I've played it and I didn't really like it. That's my opinion and I'm entitled to it. But I'm not going to go visit the WoW forums and rip on WoW -- like you have done with Guild Wars -- because that would be the truly immature thing to do.
