I tried AA at launch and got kicked from my guild for criticizing the idiotic Labor Point system. (They were some hardcore founder's packers who were desperate for the game to succeed.) Like the person in the quote, I didn't play the game much past two days.
If nothing else, this will be a sweet vindication, assuming the rumors are true.
I also remember the graphics being pretty choppy at that time. Did that ever improve, I wonder? If so, I'd have very few remaining complaints about the game.
labor points was never the problem, possible you did complain more then only labor points and started to look toxic, yeah new people tend to be kicked fast if the very first day he is already this toxic
No, it was very clearly about the Labor Points comment. I never complained about anything else in the game, and I never got the opportunity to complain about Labor Points more than once. Moreover, I was told by a sympathetic member that the leadership was highly intolerant of any criticism of the game because he had spent so much money on it.
But you know what is actually toxic? Reading someone's post and basically accusing them of bad behavior even though you weren't there and have no idea what really happened.
It was a countdown for the next Defiance expansion. Defiance is now dead and gone (servers are shut down), so none of it matters anymore.
Why did you answer a 4 year old post?
Because no one had answered the question yet. I stumbled across the article and remembered the countdown, and I had never heard what it was for. So I looked it up and mentioned it here in case someone else might stumble across this article and wonder.
Also, I love irritating the people who think it's some kind of sin.

The Countdown is actually for when they announce a flip flop on the cash shop and point the finger at XL Games
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
