https://www.gamespot.com/articles/diablo-3-introducing-more-themed-seasons-new-legen/1100-6469062/For a 7 year old game that doesn't ask for a penny more after the box price and expansions and has no cash shop, not too shabby.
I still play it every season.

I'm pasting what I posted there today about my favorite new thing for the upcoming season. The Legacy of Nightmares buff last season was so popular and opened the game up so much to wacky builds that worked that they decided to make it a permanent thing sort of by creating a new gem. It buffs everything equally unlike most class sets that buff just one or two things. It starts with a modest buff but as you level-up the gem it eventually gives you + 375% damage per legendary item and + 750% if the item is an Ancient legendary:
Looking forward to the new Legacy of Dreams gem:
While you have no set bonuses equipped, every Legendary item you have equipped increases your damage dealt by 3.75% and reduces your damage taken by 2%. (Max level 99)
Rank 25: This bonus is doubled for Ancient items.
I played around with it on the PTR and even before it's fully leveled it gives a very nice boost when you're a fresh 70 starting to gear up. It's also very useful for leveling alts as soon as you have some jewelry piece with a socket.
I cleared GR70 on my Wiz using it with just 4 ancient pieces with the gem at ~ level 50.
