Classic Servers - RvR

So, I was wondering - as a EU player I am waiting for the Classic Servers to come - how is RvR on these servers developing? From what I have heard there is already some action going on?

I have to admit that I somehow doubt that it will be a success on the long run. Although it might feel pretty old-school at the beginning, these servers will most likely attract many gank groups - with a perfect setup and perfect stats thanks to darkspire-items. As a result RvR could become frustrating for the more casual gamers. Even more than on the ToA Servers were even the casual gamer as at least RAs like purge2 and so on.

But those are just guesses - what is your impression so far?

    What you forget here is that Darkspire is an instance and thus that gear can be easily obtained by anyone (1000% easier then toa stuff).

    The new Island will make RvR a lot more casual player friendly as well.

    So basicly I think Classic servers will stay a huge success.
