Oh, don't mind these worthless fools. Just pitty them like the rest of us do. I'm gonna suggest you try out There. Its not free, its 5.00 a year. Instead of being forced to fight or quest there are unlimited possibilities. You can create your own world and change the world around you how you want.

You can create anything and be whoever you want. Your not forced to do one thing, you create what you do and you share your ideas with the world around you. People start companies, race teams, paint ball teams, they design viechles and ships. There is a portal to your imagination, your able unleash your utter most creativity.

    There

Yea, There matches 0% of what the OP wanted.  You've reached a new low, Joel.

He asked for anime, if you dont know any good ones to tell him then keep your mouths shut. Whenever someone posts about wanting a game, you feel the need to criticize him. You can tell by the topic name that he wants a free game so dont even look at it if you dont have something useful to say. ::::27::

Sure, theres way to many people asking for free games, and yes it is annoying but whats worse are the nerds that always come by and complain about it, just stay away from the topics if you dont agree with them.

OP: what was wrong with rose and maplestory? i didnt really like maplestory, but rose was pretty fun for a while.

Well the reason i do not reccomend Rose is for the simple fact that it isnt a very good game number one it runs on the oldest anti hacking system i have ever seen and it doesnt bring what it needs. The game its self is repeptive u have to constantly hack and slash for hours on end to lvl once but lvling dont even help the game was poorly made because even when u lvl u barely get stronger its basically saying ur not gonna be good till uve maxed out which i can say takes way to long.

Plus its anime style based gameplay is nice and all and i love the anime games but its fighting jelly beans NOW COME ON we arent here to play with food
I mean i dont mind the funny looking spiders but jelly beans thats to kiddish for me

    Good
    1. Guild Wars - The first game I ever actually paid for. While I didn't like the level cap at first, I've grown to love this game. First MMORPG I've ever played that had an actual story, which I really liked, and the graphics were great for someone with an average PC like myself. Also, being on a dial-up connection, I rarely have lag issues even in towns filled with people. The quests, while most are "Go here, kill this, return" or "Go here, find this, return", kept me entertained for many hours, even though I didn't have to do them. It's so simple, yet so complex and requires skill to play that it was an instant hit for me.

    2. Fairyland - Been a while since I played this, and I don't know why it's one of my favorites. The graphics are 2D, and it's filled with Pokemon-esque pets that you can train. The battles are turn-based like a console RPG, also. The Skills are really simple, just requiring you to have a tool and sit there and wait. Doesn't seem like fun, but I enjoyed watching myself gain levels that way while talking to friends. I quit when it went P2P, though.

    3. Helbreath - I played this game for I believe two years until it went P2P. I would come home from school, get on Helbreath with my best friend Matt and talk to him on the phone while we went around slaying those from the enemy town all day until bed time. Rinse and repeat for two years. Looking at it now, there seems like absolutely nothing to do on the game besides kill each other and level up, yet I am still in love with it. Err... not enough to pay a monthly fee, though.

    Bad
    1. Maple Story - I am so disappointed in this game. The quests are a joke, not even worth undertaking. That takes out a big chunk of what a MMORPG should have, already. Next are the graphics; the graphics are brilliant and colorful, very well done. Third, comes the leveling-up grind. Never have I played a game that takes so freakin' long to level up. Games that make you spend countless hours to gain a level is just ONE BIG CHEAP GIMMICK to make the game lasts longer, which is the biggest disappointment I had. Finally, there is no crafting type of system that I know of (don't call giving NPC bronze and a piece of equipment crafting), so crafter-gamers are at a loss there, as well. And last and least, the lag. Like I said earlier, I'm on dial-up and this is the only MMORPG I had a problem about lag with. For me, it takes at least a second to pick up a drop, and then another second before I could take another action. So it's not 56k friendly. ;)

    2. Anarchy Online - Didn't play this for long, but considering the amount of hype over time that I've heard about it, it just didn't add up in my head. Uninstalled about two hours after starting it.

    3. Ragnarok Online - Much like Maple Story, it has pretty graphics but not much in the way of quests that I could see when I played it. The leveling grind is just as pitiful as Maple Story, and should only be played by those that have way too much time on their hands if they want to get anywhere. Also, when I leveled up, I barely got any stronger. The number one worst game that I have ever played.

Lotta writing. x_x; Don't take me wrong on the ones I put under Bad; I love MMORPGs, I really do. And I play just about any that I can get my hands on. But when you have to spend several hours to gain a level when you're not even that high of a level to begin with, the game instantly becomes trash. Developers should make their game last longer by adding content, not by making people play all day to get 17% EXP to their next level.
